The City of Belle Glade is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and visionary leader to serve as its next City Manager. This executive-level position functions as the City’s Chief Administrative Officer, operating under policy direction established by the City Commission and in accordance with the City Charter and Code. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, strategic planning expertise, and a commitment to excellence in public service.
Key Responsibilities
Provide executive leadership and administrative oversight for all City operations, programs, and services
Develop, implement, and enforce City policies and procedures
Prepare and administer the City’s annual budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and transparency
Oversee critical municipal services, including:
Public Works
Marina and campground facilities
Parks and leisure services
Planning & Building
Supervise, direct, and evaluate department heads and assigned staff
Collaborating with the five-member City Commission to execute strategic goals and community priorities
Ensure efficient delivery of services and responsible management of City resources
