This is a senior management position responsible for assisting the Chief Financial Officer in directing development, operation, administration and evaluation of Finance Department policies and staff. The Finance Director must exercise significant and independent judgement but receives general administrative direction from the Chief Financial Officer. This position will have complex administrative and management duties and responsibilities with regard to the Finance Department. Work involves advanced technical knowledge of financial analysis, reporting and problem solving.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Accounting.
Six (6) years progressively responsible professional experience managing financial activities to include the preparation of monthly financial reports, accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, grants and supervisory experience.
Government accounting experience required.
Advanced knowledge of professional accounting principles and practices, office management, including governmental accounting.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
