They bring strong fiscal and administrative expertise, a diplomatic and steady leadership style, and the ability to collaborate effectively with elected officials, staff, residents, and regional partners. EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS
Education: Bachelor’s degree.
Experience: Extensive leadership experience as a Chief Executive, Assistant/Deputy Chief Executive or Department Head in a public agency of comparable complexity.
• Significant leadership roles who demonstrate the ability to administratively lead a municipality and personnel; learn and apply the principals of public sector governance and engagement; and manage local government processes and regulatory requirements will be considered.
DESIRED
• Master’s degree.
• Knowledge and experience with legislation, laws, regulations and requirements applying to California municipalities and coastal communities.
