Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in public administration, business administration, planning, or a related field. A Master’s degree is desirable; AND
• Experience: At least ten years of progressively responsible administrative or staff experience in municipal government, including a minimum of four years in a high-level administrative or executive role overseeing planning, organizing, directing, and financing a varied work program. Prior experience as a City Manager or Chief Executive Officer is preferred. Prior experience with Public Safety is highly desirable.
Compensation: Current Salary Range: $260,208 - $333,132* plus an attractive benefits package.
*The above salary range is scheduled for City Council adoption on 11/4/25. City Council may consider further adjustment to the salary range in connection with the appointment of an exceptionally qualified candidate commensurate with the candidate’s prior experience. A mutually agreeable employment agreement will be negotiated including terms and conditions of employment.
