About the Role
Reporting to the County Executive, the Deputy County Executive plans, organizes and directs the activities of several key departments as well as Countywide initiatives, including:
- Directing the development and implementation of programs and pursuit of new initiatives.
- Evaluating policies and coordinating activities with assigned departments to ensure maximum effectiveness of County resources and services.
- Keeping the County Executive informed regarding the overall condition of the County’s programs and of any developing areas or events which could impact the County.
