The Beaumont Police Department is supported by 60 sworn and 28.5 professional staff and an annual operating budget of $21 million. The department is organized across three divisions: Administration, Operations, and Support Services.

Beaumont seeks a forward-thinking policing professional who is a strong advocate for community policing and has the proven ability to build trust and foster partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. This inspiring and inclusive leader will value both sworn and professional staff, promote collaboration and professional growth, and maintain a visible presence within the department and community.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree and fifteen years of increasingly responsible and well-rounded law enforcement experience. P.O.S.T. Executive Certificate is required within two years of employment. Master’s degree is desirable.
