This is highly responsible, professional work in the management of public information, community outreach and engagement programs for the town. Work involves planning, designing, managing and implementing the town’s emergency, external and employee communications, media relations, marketing, branding and engagement programs to promote the town’s interests and inform and engage internal and external audiences about the town’s services and programs, policies and events. Work is performed with considerable latitude, using independent judgment and action under the general direction of the acting deputy town manager.
