Position Summary:
You will work with governments around the country, conducting organizational, operational, process improvement and staffing studies. While we work in all functional areas of local government, our greatest need at this time is for individuals with demonstrated experience in Administrative Services (specifically, Administration, Finance, and Human Resources). Experience in strategic planning and organizational development is a plus. In our projects, we are independent and objective analysts, and our greatest value is our ability to identify where improvements should be made and to develop solutions to address our clients’ unique needs.
Our work is multidisciplinary and includes extensive interviews with our clients to understand their unique needs and issues, analyze their data, and work as a team to develop solutions to their problems. No two projects are identical.

We are seeking a candidate to join our team in an individual contributor level. While future opportunities may exist to promote to a project manager level, current needs are for individuals with the skills, interest and ability to conduct data collection and analysis, research, interviews and comparative research. This position serves as an integral part of project teams and candidates should have local government subject matter expertise. We have an immediate need to fill this position. All applications will be screened immediately upon receipt and interviews conducted quickly.

• Develop written analysis and recommendations for operational change using data, benchmarking analysis, and stakeholder input.
• Presenting findings, conclusions, and recommendations to clients including elected officials.
• May support senior staff in business development and project management.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated subject matter expertise. At least 5 years’ experience working in the public sector as staff or a consultant.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
