Budget Analyst

Gain municipal experience by joining our dedicated team of financial professionals! We are currently seeking qualified applicants for a Budget Analyst position in the Finance Department. This position is responsible for: assisting in the development, preparation, and administration of the annual operating and capital budgets; providing property acquisition for City projects; compiling and analyzing data; preparing financial reports, project plans for TIF districts, and grant applications; monitoring grant performance; and more!

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field; possess or obtain (within 30 days of hire) and maintain a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License; and have a broad knowledge of accounting, budgeting, finance, and municipal management. A Master’s Degree in Public Administration or Business Administration is preferred. Specialized knowledge of economic development and property acquisition is preferred. No experience needed, on the job training is provided for specialized duties.

Wage range: $27.20 - $31.68 per hour, plus excellent fringe benefits.
