Assistant Human Resources Direcor

County of Clatsop, OR

Seeking one senior-level human resources professional to integrate the delivery of comprehensive county-wide employee and labor relations programs and work collaboratively with the HR director to provide expert advice and counsel to Clatsop County departments on human resource employee relations-related matters. Responsibilities include classification and compensation, pay equity compliance, assistance with collective bargaining, division training programs, and county benefits plans.

Mandatory Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, behavioral science, public or business administration or related plus four (4) years HR management experience, preferably in the public sector, with minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience, or any satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the essential functions of the position. SHRM and/or CCP certification desirable.
