The Tranter-Leong Fellowship was established in 2017 through a generous donation from ICMA Life Member Revan A. F. Tranter, past ICMA president and first chair of the International Committee, and Eugene Y. Leong. Traditionally, the Tranter-Leong Fellowship offers two awards of up to $5,000 each during each application cycle with one award for work in Asia and one award for work outside of Asia. During this special application cycle, ICMA will grant up to three awards of $5,000 each for work in Asia. These awards are to be used to facilitate global knowledge exchange outside the applicant's home country. This scholarship is administered by the ICMA Global Engagement Committee. Individuals with questions can contact Sophie Weyn, assistant program manager, Global Engagement at sweyn@icma.org.
