Meeting Location Application

2025 & 2026 Global Exchange Application

ICMA is currently accepting host location proposals for the 2025 and 2026 ICMA Global Exchanges led by the Global Engagement Committee.

Please complete the fields below to submit your proposal. Please reference the application guidelines here to assist you in submitting your proposal. The application is open to any community or local government organization outside of the United States. Past hosts have included Exello.net (Association of Flemish City Managers) in Belgium; the Royal Commission for AlUla in Saudi Arabia; Puerto Princesa and Tagbilaran, Philippines; the City Managers’ Association of Rajasthan in Jaipur, India; the Association of Public Administration in Romania (AAPRO); the Czech City Managers’ Association in the Czech Republic; the Dominican Federation of Municipalities (FEDOMU) in the Dominican Republic; and the Federation of Local Authorities of Israel (FLAI), among others.

All proposals will be reviewed by ICMA staff and members of the Global Engagement Committee.

Please indicate the proposed topics/themes for meetings or workshops. For example, mobility, sustainability/environment, strategic planning, technology, etc.

Please indicate the proposed opportunities for interaction for local government professionals. These could include study tours/site visits, interactions at a conference, workshop presentations, or other opportunities.

Please indicate how planning efforts will be shared between ICMA and the host organization. For example, indicate if your organization has a dedicated event planner or if someone is tasked with planning study tour/site visit opportunities.
