This year's exchange will occur September 3-12, 2025.
From September 3 to 7, 2025, the Municipal Council of Manzini will host participants in Eswatini and organize a four-day itinerary that not only includes site visits to local governments but will promote a two-way exchange about latest practices in local governments, including workforce development, infrastructure funding, climate resilience, and more.
From September 8 to 12, 2025, the South African Local Government Association (SALGA) will organize a five-day itinerary in/around Johannesburg, South Africa, that includes a municipal managers forum, a Local Government Talent Management Seminar, and site visits to learn about South African municipalities as well as the country's unique culture and history.
