Ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of communities are primary responsibilities of local government.  As a result, ICMA provides a series of services that support local and regionally based networks for emergency management and mutual aid.

ICMA Results Networks delivers the following emergency management services:

  • Emergency management leadership training
  • Emergency management network and “standing team” development
  • Emergency management assistance coordination and support.

And ICMA Results Networks provides a direct link to the National Emergency Management Network.  Services NEMN offers include training and support for: 

  • Emergency Resource Management
  • Situational awareness
  • Exercise and geo-mapping tools.
