In this commentary, the authors respond to Paul Stanton Kibel's critique of the Uniform Environmental Covenants Act. The authors explain the benefits of UECA and argue that UECA has a limited role in the risk-based remedy process, and the sole purpose of UECA is to provide certainty for environmental covenants.
