This interactive workshop, was presented by the SunShot Solar Outreach Partnership on April 30, 2013 in Memphis, TN. Attendees were provided with actionable information on creating a local-level solar program in the mid-south region. Areas of focus included: an overview of solar technology and why it is viable for the Memphis region; revising zoning codes and ordinances to allow for solar; streamlining permitting processes; and innovative financing options for solar projects.
