This case study focuses on how Asheville, North Carolina provides reliable energy to retail and community members through solar energy.  Through strong community leadership, collaboration, and creative thinking, Asheville developed a number of solar deployments while minimizing the environmental impact.  The Green Dining Destination, electric vehicle charging stations and Solarize Asheville are all discussed.
