The City of Mauston has always struggled to get the word out and solicit productive public infput.  Sharing Supper, a nonprofit community meal program specifically designed to engage the citizens, provides a venue for local businesses, organizations, and individuals to serve the community.  As such, it is one of Mauston's more succesful partnerships. 

Sharing Supper received the 2013 ICMA Program Excellence Award in the area of Community Partnership for populations under 10,000 as part of the ICMA Annual Awards Program.
