The purpose of this report is to share information regarding the types of public transportation data that can be provided via 511 and the issues associated with this provision. This report's main audience is the transit community, 511 planners and implementers. The rationale for this report is to produce a "511 basics" guide for transit agencies to both address getting started with 511 and also planning for evolving basic services as experience and demand warrant.
