This paper outlines how the Assistant to the City Manager and an Advisory Group, with the leadership from the City Manager, will act to further Palo Alto’s Civic Engagement for the Common Good effort. The actions include community conversations about expectations of city government, creating an inclusive community, the Palo Alto Process, the role of non-profits, and the best ways to connect and communicate with citizens. The actions also include keynote community wide events and a City Council study session.
