This document, from the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response, outlines the One Cleanup Program initiative and action plan. The One Cleanup Program will coordinate EPA programs with state, tribal, local, other programs and stakeholders to reduce duplication. The document introduces three initiatives that will drive the One Cleanup Program. The second initiative aims to provide clear and useful information about cleanups. One tool that will assist EPA in carrying out this initiative is an Institutional Controls (IC) Tracking Network. The IC Tracking Network will be used for long term monitoring and maintenance of cleanup sites.
