As part of a USAID-funded project awarded to the Volunteers for Economic Growth Alliance, ICMA provided local economic development training for chambers of commerce and local councils in two districts in Northern Sri Lanka. The objective of the training was to facilitate dialogue between the councils and the business community and develop an understanding of how they could work together to facilitate local economic development. ICMA was a member of a team headed by the International Executive Service Corps.
