The community of Lethbridge desired to build a new neighborhood which would include a public library, two high schools, and a sports field. This required a four-way partnership from the City, the Public Library Board, and the Public and Private School Boards. What started as a goodwill venture became a contractual agreement between four partners, including sharing of resources and time. The result is a continuing partnership of community service providers as well as the completion of the desired neighborhood.
This case study was nominated for ICMA's Annual Awards Program.
