The Fresno Regional Jobs Initiative was created to generate long-term, sustainable economic development in the Fresno, California, region. A partnership among local governments, state and federal agencies, and many other public and private sector entities, the initiative has developed short and long-term comprehensive strategies aimed at creating 25,000 to 30,000 net new jobs in different industry clusters.
