The city of Westminster, Colorado, was nominated to the 2005 ICMA Annual Awards Program for fostering intergovernmental cooperation in the Denver Metropolitan area. Efforts include: The Interstate 25 Corridor IGAs, Clear Creek Watershed Protections, Standley Lake Regional Park, and the Westminster/Hyland Hills Cooperative Agreement. The extensive cooperation has resulted in a significant improvement to the quality of products and services that are provided to the community.
