Michael Bellot of the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) presented this information at the Institutional Controls Tracking Network Workshop on Sunday, October 26, 2003 at the Brownfields 2003 conference in Portland, Oregon. The presentation summarizes the current state of tracking institutional controls (IC) for the federal government. It also lists current EPA research, studies, and guidance in the use of ICs. Finally, the presentation provides information on the IC tracking network - a network of linked systems dedicated to tracking ICs at Superfund, brownfields, and other contaminated sites.
