A report from a symposium held on February 16, 2012, CommonHealth ACTION (CHA) presented i-HIT: Exploring the Intersections of Health,Technology, and Equity among Young Adults and Communities of Color at the Pew Conference Center in Washington, DC. The half-day event convened leaders and stakeholders from the non-profit sector, communitybased organizations, academia, government, the telecommunications sector, and a premier research institute to discuss technology’s role in creating or preventing health equity given its growing influence on health care and public health.
