The City of Littleton’s Sustainability Committee has at least one member from each department. Some of the committee’s achievements include: creating a free leaf recycling program, a tire recycling program, sponsoring an Electronics Recycling Day, downsizing City vehicles and buying more hybrid vehicles, and producing an environmental booklet for residents that gives tips on how to be more environmentally friendly.
