When the City of Lafayeette was planning the new library, residents said they wanted the new library to foster learning for all city residents. So the City partnered with many non-profit groups to provide cultural experiences for residents of all ages. The Glenn Seaborg Learning Consortium provides lectures, poetry and literature readings, plays, spoken word performances, music, and nighttime exhibitions.
