Fast Forward Fort Lauderdale: Our City, Our Vision 2035 is the City of Fort Lauderdale’s long-term community Vision Plan. City staff interacted with over 5,000 neighbors, who generated 1,562 ideas. These ideas became the foundation for the Vision Statement and Plan. “How the Plan was Created: The Planning Process” section of Fast Forward Fort Lauderdale 2035 details staff’s efforts for gathering neighbor feedback, hosting and using the eight outreach mechanisms, and writing and publishing the plan. Fast Forward Fort Lauderdale 2035 was unanimously approved by City Commission on April 16, 2013.
