The City of Aurora created the Extraordinary Service Program and encouraged employees and committees to recommend new ways to improve internal and operational processes. With these recommendations, the Extraordinary Service Program helped the City cut costs, raise revenues, improve service, increase organizational efficiency, and helped the organization save $5 million since 1995.
