Knightdale’s Town Manager, Gary McConkey, helped negotiate the creation of the Public, Education, and Government channel (PEG). With PEG, the Town partnered with Wake County Public schools and provided the “Make the Grade”, a show that helps high school students with algebra and geometry. Also PEG made it possible to have a public health show and to have a show with Knightdale’s former mayor.
