The city of Sunnyvale, California, was nominated to the 2005 ICMA Annual Awards Program for its OneStop Online Permit Services. Sunnyvale is one of the first cities in the United States to effectively use Web-based technology to make city hall accessible to its customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This program allows the community to access property information, apply for permits, and schedule inspections online.
