DeKalb County has implemented a comprehensive strategic program to increase intervention and enforcement in multi-family communities, which have shown high levels of crime and code violations. The document details how this plan was undertaken as well as a look at what prompted the conception of said plan. The program has been nominated for the 2016 Local Government Excellence Awards in the category of Community Health & Safety (populations of 50,000 and greater).
