The City of Windsor Heights only has two parks and the main one, Colby Park, needed upgrades to become more family friendly, have more open space, and to attract new home buyers. The City achieved these goals through an ad hoc committee made of city staff, the Citizens Capital Planning Committee, the Windsor Heights Foundation, the Lions Club, the Keep Windsor Heights Beautiful Committee, and the Chamber of Commerce.
