Orange County, CA developed the, Combat Veterans Court to assist those suffering from drug abuse, alcohol abuse, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) or other mental illnesses which may lead to an increase in criminal behavior. Rather than send these individuals into the justice system this program has helped provide them with the proper care and therapy they require.
