After the Mayor of Columbia signed on to the U.S. Conference of Mayor’s Climate Protection Action Resolution, the City formed a Climate Protection Action Committee (CPAR). CPAR helps the City reduce its greenhouse gas emissions through grassroots efforts and partnerships with residents, non-profit agencies, local businesses, and other local governments.
