A team of Durham, North Carolina, city employees drafted a “blueprint” to build the city’s leadership pipeline, the team was pleased to learn of the many opportunities for development already in place within the organization. The creation of Durham’s blueprint takes an integrated approach to professional growth and is helping team members describe the opportunities available, connecting existing employees with development options, and launching initiatives to close gaps and create new opportunities for leadership development.
