This report presents the views of Michigan's local government leaders regarding levels of trust they feel toward their citizens as responsible participants in local governance. The findings are based on responses to statewide surveys of local government leaders in the fall 2012 wave of the Michigan Public Policy Survey, conducted at the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan.
