Balch Springs is a city with a growing population located in Dallas County. Through community engagement it was realized that seniors as well as younger citizens desired a reliable transportation city. This document details the issues and concerns of the public and how that manifested into a transit partnership. The program has been nominated for the 2016 Local Government Excellence Awards in the category of Community Partnership (populations of 10,000 to 49,999).
