A brief case study of the Austin Main Street Project. The City of Austin Minensota partnered with its Port Authority and Housing and Redevelopment Authority to create a separate nonprofit corporation to work with businesses to improve downtown Austin. Considered a successess by the community, the Project was recently recognized by the Local Government Innovation Awards hosted by the Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs in partnership with InCommons.
