The Denver Regional Council of Governments has developed the Denver Regional Solar Map website with grant funding from the New Energy Economic Development, provided by the Colorado Governor’s Energy Office. The site - http://solarmap.drcog.org  was launched in December 2010 and allows users to locate their properties and examine the benefits of solar photovoltaic installation and lets solar installers respond to consumer questions. The project uses localized data and increases collaboration and partnerships between local governments, businesses, and citizens.
