This is the 2010 nomination of Austin, Texas' Small and Minority Business Resources for Business Development Program for the Community Partnership Award. City Manager Marc Ott has been credited with aiding in the development of this program which seeks to overcome barriers that small businesses that are owned by minorities and women face as they attempt to do business in the City. In order to achieve this goal there has been a great deal of support from local volunteers and community organizations.
