The City of Lincoln, California is nominated for the 2006 ICMA Program Excellence Award in Community Partnerships, for the City's partnership with the local school district. The City partnered with Western Placer Unified School District (WPUSD) in order to meet the growing service demands of the community by pooling scarce financial resources to build and share several necessary public facilities. This document contains a description of the program, as well as a discussion of the program's results and lessons learned.
