Last Tuesday, CityLinks hosted a free interactive webinar to introduce the new CityLinks Primer on Subnational Approaches to Low Emission, Climate Resilient Development which will be available for free digitial download soon. You can learn more about it here.

The team was joined by Dana Kenney of Winrock International, Joshua Gallo of the World Bank, Margaret McKenzie of Urban Earth, and ICMA consultant Elizabeth Strange for a one hour panel discussion followed by an audience Q&A. Presentations spanned the three topic areas of governance, financing, and city-to-city learning.

Kenney tackled the topic of governance with her presentation on ntegrating national and municipal LEDS in the Republic of Georgia and Vietnam. Gallo covered financing with his presentatio on credit-worthiness to catalyze investments for municipal projects. Last but not least, McKenzie delved into the role of networking and knowledge sharing in activating climate change action. You can learn more about each presenter here.

After attending the webinar, most audience members felt that their understanding of climate risks and vulnerabilities had increased and that they gained good insight into policies and processes to improve the climate mitigation and adaptation actions in the context of sustainable development goals.

Feel like you missed out? We've got great news! You can now watch the entire webinar (for free!) here. We'd love to know what you think, so let us know after you tune in!
