ICMA is again partnering with our long-time Strategic Partner, Esri, and MindMixer to host Hackstock for #LocalGov on Saturday, September 13 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday, September 14 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Charlotte Convention Center. During Hackstock, computer programmers and developers will use data provided by local governments across North America to develop new mobile and online apps and dashboards needed for greater citizen engagement and improved service delivery.
Local computer programmers will assemble in Concourse C at the convention center to devote a day and a half to collaborate intensively on the creation of new technology applications for local governments and their citizens. The results of their work will be available to members on ICMA’s website after the conference. ICMA members coming to register for the ICMA Annual Conference are encouraged to drop by Hackstock and talk with the programmers about their work.
