The ELGL (Emerging Local Government Leaders) recently did a feature story on Lee R. Feldman, City Manager of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and the chair of ICMA’s Sustainable Communities Advisory Committee. An ICMA-CM, Lee was appointed city manager in 2011. ELGL’s profile on Lee is part of their “Fifty Nifty” series, which is targeted to younger professionals aspiring to work in local government, and those just beginning their careers.

From his take on the meaning of life (“to make a difference in someone else’s life”) to what the inside of his car looks like, Lee gets personal, inspirational, and demonstrates his great perspective and knowledge of the inner workings of local government throughout the piece.
