We often have conversations with municipal mangers about the value of doing better public engagement and one of my colleagues is fond of saying, "You can do it right or you can do it over." Bumper stick statements usually lack substance but this one is dead on. It also applies to everyday, good-old-fashioned meetings. We live in meetings and it seems like we live for meetings.
