Next week, the CityLinks team will be participating in the first ICLEI Resilient Cities Asia-Pacific congress series in Bangkok, Thailand. The event will focus on urban resilience and adaptation to climate change. It is designed to showcase innovative soultions and help local governments transform them into working policy and practice. Participants will include mayors, local government representatives, UN agencies, researchers, and private sector partners.
You can find program manager Jessica Cho at the CityLinks booth in the exhibit hall. There, she will be sharing the story of CityLinks' ASEAN Cities Climate Change Partnership and how to get involved with the 2015 Climate Adaptation Partnership Program (CAPP) as either a resource city or an international partner city. CAPP is an innovative professional development opportunity that not only creates new global connections but also grows a community of that can learn from each other.
