The Workforce Intelligence Network for Southeast Michigan (win-semich.org) recently received a grant from the Department of Defense Office of Economic Adjustment. As a part of the grant are two subtasks, one involving an urban innovation challenge and the other a connected mobility demonstration project. They are now soliciting proposals.

What they are looking for:

Macomb / St. Clair Workforce Development Board's request for proposal for (1) formation of a connected life collaborative, (2) development of a plan for an urban innovation lab focused on connected life, and (3) implementation of a pilot project/proof of concept to inform future implementation of the connected life/urban innovation lab concept has been released.

This RFP is part of the Department of Defense Office of Economic Adjustment Defense Industry Adjustment Grant for Southeast Michigan Region. Proposals are due June 23, 2016.
